The short version: there are no accounts, we do not know who you are, and your games stay in your own browser.

What is stored in your browser

To let you pick up where you left off, the game saves your current deal, your undo history, a simple count of games played and won, which days you finished a daily deal, and your settings (card size and layout). This is stored in your browser only (using what browsers call “local storage”). It is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. We do not ask for a name, an email address or a password, and there is no way to log in.

The site carries no advertising today. If that changes — advertisements are how it would pay for itself — this page will be updated first, and any advertising will be placed clearly outside the playing area.

Counting visits

We count visits, so that we know whether anyone is using the site and which games are worth keeping. This is done entirely on our own server. Nothing is sent to Google or to any other company, and no other company is involved in it.

For each visit we record which page was opened, how long it was on screen, how many times the table was touched, whether a game was started or finished, roughly how large the screen is, and — if you arrived by following a link — the name of the site you came from. That is the whole list.

Nothing is saved on your device, and no cookie is set. Each visit is given a random number that exists only while the page is open and is forgotten as soon as you close it. A second visit is not joined up with the first. We cannot tell who you are, and we cannot tell that two visits came from the same person.

Our server also keeps an ordinary record of the pages it has served, as every web server does. The address your internet connection uses is shortened before it is written down, so what is left shows roughly which part of the world a visit came from and nothing more precise than that.

Cookies

Nothing here sets a cookie — not the games, and not the visit counting described above.
