About The Full Deck

The Full Deck is a free collection of classic card games — Solitaire, FreeCell, Spider, Pyramid and more — made to be comfortable to play. The cards are big and clearly printed, nothing is timed, and you can undo as many moves as you like.

What we believe

Who makes it

The Full Deck is made by a small independent team in Iceland. It is free to play and will stay free; the plan is to pay for it with a few calm, clearly separated advertisements that never sit on top of the cards.

The games

Solitaire (Klondike), FreeCell, Spider, Pyramid, Golf, TriPeaks, Yukon, Forty Thieves, Aces Up and Canfield. More classics are on the way.

Credits

The traditional card faces are based on the public-domain (CC0) deck by Adrian Kennard (me.uk/cards). The large-number faces, used when the cards are small, are our own, drawn with Atkinson Hyperlegible — the typeface the Braille Institute made for low vision. The game engine began as SolitaireLib (MIT licence). Text is set in Atkinson Hyperlegible and Fraunces.
